

Hannah Sward is the critically-acclaimed author of the underground memoir Strip: A Memoir, which has received rave reviews from authors such as Nobel Prize winner J.M. Coetzee, Melissa Broder, and NYT Bestselling novelist Caroline Leavitt.
Sward has appeared on NBC CA Live for a segment in honor of National Recovery Month, C-SPAN BookTV in conversation with The Voices and Faces Project, and numerous panels, podcasts, and magazines such as Recovery Today.
Most recently, Sward was selected and awarded a full scholarship for the 2023 We Tell Stories writing program. She has also been chosen as the 2023 guest author of We Tell Stories: The Worldwide Literary Conversation Series in dialogue with Voices and Faces Project founder Anne K. Ream and World Without Exploitation.
Hannah serves on the board of Right to Write Press, a nonprofit that supports emerging writers who are incarcerated. She lives in Los Angeles where she is working on her next book, a collection of stories about love, jealousy, and affairs.
